My name is Ed Rogers and I run Out of the Woods. I finally found what I was looking for. Milling wood is my jam! I have always worked with wood and back in high school I was in wood shop or the pool. After spending 20+ years in Silicon Valley I packed up and moved to the Santa Cruz Mountains. Started milling logs for flooring and all the visible wood in our home and that was it. I was hooked.

Now we have three portable mills the Woodmizer LT70 Super Hydraulic, Mobile Dimension and Lucas M8-30 with the 64″ slabbing attachment.
